Speaking Engagements

Below is a list of tried and true presentations we’ve presented at multiple conferences and workshops. Reach out if you are interested in one of our ready-made presentations or a custom presentation based on our most recent knowledge.

packing your design suitcase: creating exceptional designs

Imagine your firm’s aesthetics and design was still the same as in 1990 – would it matter? While you might be able to get away with an outdated logo (and say it’s vintage), a 1990 proposal would almost certainly raise eyebrows, and a 1990 website would never fly. Design changes. Firms that don’t keep up risk looking outdated and stuck. Just like you might pack your suitcase with different outfits depending on your destination, design can help you appeal to the right audience at the right moment. We’ll help you understand the latest design trends in the AEC world—from proposals to booth banners to advertisements and websites. But more importantly, we’ll help you understand which trends matter (and might help you win work) and which are worth skipping. While aesthetics are important, design can also play an important role in function—and items like a well-placed headline can matter a lot.
